It's back. Contain your excitement.

Pyramid playoffs are on the same format and dates as last season.

Bookies have Montrose and East Stirlingshire as joint favourites to finish bottom.

Brora widely forecast to retain HL... Edinburgh City, East Kilbride and Gretna tipped for LL.

It was only Day 1 in SPFL2 but who'd have predicted this for the bottom places:

P W D L GD Pts

6 Montrose 1 0 0 1 -1 0

7 East Fife 1 0 0 1 -1 0

= Queen's P 1 0 0 1 -1 0

= Stirling 1 0 0 1 -1 0

--------------------------------

10 Arbroath 1 0 0 1 -3 0

Highland & Lowland are 3 games in...

Brora already look HL champions elect, having banged in 22 goals for only 1 against, winning their last pair of games 11-0 and 1-8 :o:

4 Inverurie 3 2 0 1 +4 6

5 Nairn 3 2 0 1 +3 6

6 Formartine 3 2 0 1 +1 6

Clyde's times up, they finish in the bottom half almost every season, have a very poor support, don't have there own ground and add nothing to the game to be honest, think it's time for a fresh new challenge for an ambitious club whoever it may be.

True dat.

Edit - since 2010 East Stirling have finished bottom of the SFL/SPFL a grand total of once more than Clyde. It really is time that the parasite clubs, likes of Clyde, were eliminated from the Senior leagues.

It's every other season, and they have improved in the last 5 years.

So, straight to the juniors then, by passing the Lowland League.

How many times prior to that did you finish bottom??? The only reason anyone supports Shire is if they get k-b'd by Falkirk.

Do they Forrie?? So, on the very unlikely but entirely possible scenario of a dramatic improvement in their fortunes (promotions, Cup runs, sustained continuous improvement....) coupled with the inevitable changing of roles among other clubs, they'd chuck following their diddy team if joining the 'supposed' Premiership (what's 'supposed' about it anyway???) became reality?? Fucking behave. You're talking about a club currently two tiers beneath two of the largest five clubs in the land. East Stirlingshire, and every other diddy outfit in L2 would scud every Lowland, Highland, Junior, Amateur and Juvenile team in the country, nine times out of ten. Thus being the 'big bad seniors'. If its plaudits anyone is after for following a crap team, there's a lot more worse than them. Shire fans follow their team for the same reason as the rest of us....in the hope of change from the norm, a bit of success and winning things. No need to demonise those who already are doing so.
