Musselburgh Athletic 2015-2016

Recommended Posts

Moving on after another Scottish cup final and some excellent mussy performances, does anyone have any thoughts on the upcoming season?

Being one of the bigger teams not to have a dedicated thread it might be interesting to start a conversation. post-63330-1438631210089_thumb.jpg

Like the look of the right back John Hall. Zero nonsense. Scott Gibson has been back in a couple of games I've seen but not sure if its just for fitness or looking to sign him. McLeish, Paliczka and Jamieson are all experienced Super League players, so should all do a good job. Keeping Jackie Myles is a huge bonus.

4 games, 3 wins, 1 loss. 14 goals scored, 12 goals conceded if nothing else it's going to be an entertaining season ahead

You have plenty of experienced players among those names mentioned, big Scott's been there done it so he should fit in the team no problem.

I have also heard that mussy are finding it difficult to secure a sponsor for the new kit. Strange as m pact got a lot of exposure due to the cup success last year.

Shirt sponsor and hospitality have been secured - The young team are on the look out for a shirt sponsor if anyone can help

Well done picking up for a M.A thread good luck for season ahead unfortunately linlithgow have a bit of a debate from the agm that has spilled over to the start of the season which is a shame the team hasn't had the best of results but there are signs of improvement with how the new manager wants to play but it's very much a work in progress

Yes. The 'thug' that got abused all game by that total fanny Gary Wilcox (who ran into Musselburgh's technical area in an abusive and threatening manner) and put that moron to bed is still with us. Thank god. #getoverit

Ali Adams has joined Linlithgow Rose - but seemingly they've not got a website anymore so they won't be able to make an official announcement

We can, it will be in the gazette next Friday if the club tell the paper before the Tuesday deadline

Jimmy, you seem to be a man in the know. Anything else to report sponsor, signings in/out, backroom changes etc?
