craigkillie
That's par for the course in Turkey. I know that Kris Boyd only agreed to sign for Eskisehirspor if he was paid up front, after other players had been shafted by clubs.

charger29
Six Dinamo Bucharest players got Covid-19. Their match was postponed on Thursday. This is the second time they've had to postpone a game after their masseuse got it last month. Also one CFR Cluj player has it too, so their game today against FCSB is postponed. Apparently they only have to take the test every 14 days which is interesting. I presumed it would be once/twice a week everywhere.
Sherrif John Bunnell
Istanbul Basakeshir have won the Turkish League for the first time. None of the big three Istanbul clubs are even in the top 3 with one match to go. Trabzonspor are banned from Europe due to FFP breaches, so third place will get into the CL qualifiers. Also, St Johnstone's old pals from Eskişehirspor are on their way to the Turkish seaside leagues after suffering another relegation. DiegoDiego
Basaksehir winning is bad news, they are a joke of a club, last time I saw them play they brought fifty fans to a derby. It's a shame about Eskisehirspor though, it's a lovely city with some decent fans. I hope Boluspor can stay up. Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Galatasaray can all gtf though.
charger29
Six Dinamo Bucharest players got Covid-19.Also one CFR Cluj player has it too, so their game today against FCSB is postponed. And as Dinamo jump from 6 to 21 cases, Cluj go from 1 to 26 (16 players + Dan Petrescu and other coaches). The Romanian Federation wanted to extend the season but UEFA said you'll be over the deadline for telling us your teams for European qualification. Cluj and Dinamo playing their kids until the end of the season seems like the simple answer but with other teams/background staff/refs getting Covid too, I doubt this is the last of it. A test every two weeks is too infrequent.
Robin.Hood
Carlos Carvalhal has done a magnificent job guiding Rio Ave to a European spot and a 5th place in league. Most amount of points for them also

Allan Jacobsen
Grasshoppers spending a second season in the Challenge League after getting blootered 6-0 at home by Winterthur. Admittedly, Vaduz only needed a point to clinch 2nd place - they lost 2-1 - but that's still an absolute capitulation by GCZ. Torpar
Pretty good to see "my team" Servette qualify for Europe in their first season back in the top flight, not bad from a team from a city that seems to care more about hockey than football.
