Nightmare
Piast beats Lech 1-0 and claims their first title. Only realised today that Tom Hateley starts at CM for them. Legia could only draw 2-2 with Lubin, so they would have won the title anyway. Only 1 win and 5 points in Legia’s final 6 games - a pretty brutal collapse. Galatasaray come from behind to beat Basaksehir and wrap up the Turkish Super League as well, completing an equally brutal collapse for Istanbul’s most pointless club. Only 2 defeats in the first 27 games, and then only 1 win in the 6 since then.
GNU_Linux
Shaktar Donetsk win their 12 Premyer Liha title after beating Oleksandria 2-1. Slavia Prague won the Czech League taking them to five league titles (18 including Czechoslovakian titles) To fill in some more blanks Feronikeli won the Kosovan Superleague which takes them to three titles. In Montenegro Sutjeska Niksic won their 4th First League title. Most importantly of all of course FC Santa Coloma won their 13th Andorran Primera Divisio title after beating Sant Julia who they edged out by a single point.

Lechia Gdańsk also had an incredible arse collapse post-split, they led the league for most of the season until the final 5 games....it really opened up incredibly for Piast but fair play, they got the results when the chips were down...maybe one day for Lechia! That’s two post-split collapses to throw away the league in the last 3 seasons!
Ross.
Promotion/Relegation play offs here tonight, Xamax v Aarau in the first leg. Couldn't get a ticket in the away end, which sold out in a fashion that would embarrass Dundee Utd, so sitting in the home end. Should be fun...

Not sure how to describe what I witnessed here today. 4-0 up into the home leg and contrived to lose the tie. Quite how Xamax won 4-0 in the 90 minutes is beyond me. Aarau started well, should have been 3 up then got caught on the break. Two shite set pieces from a defensive point of view for the second and third. Second half was much the same. Aarau pressure and chances, Xamax scored with their first effort of the half. They were dead on their feet and playing for penalties from then. Constant Aarau pressure, terrible finishing and the ball just not running for us. 89th minute and Schneuwly is free at the back post, 6 yards out and skies it. First minute of extra time, we hit the post from 25 yards out and the next 30 minutes was more of the same. Constant pressure but just couldn’t finish the fucking thing. Less said about the penalty shootout the better. Missed the first one and that was that. Hard to say how I feel about the game, probably similar to the season as a whole, pretty much just unbelievable. Lost the first 6 games and had 4 points after 10. The fact they turned it round and finished second was a miracle in itself, then when Thursday happened it seemed like the miracle had been completed. Ah well. I fucking love football.

In the crazy world of Argentine football, Tigre relegated last month to Primera B due to the averaging system. Que LOCO! ️ https://t.co/CXa0PqunI9 Dinna understand how this league works :-( I mind reading about it when they changed the set up to try and prevent River Plate from going down. Something like the average from the last 2 and a half seasons or something ridiculous like that?
