Some want to hit the ground running, qualify for the League Cup and carry form into the opening league games and cup ties - others basically use them as an extended series of preseason friendlies. Duns played well yesterday but unfortunately poor refereeing and a very dubious sending off cost the team. On the note of refereeing do these people actually get assessed? How hanlon passes the grade i will never know. Giving out needless yellow cards to both teams yesterday, not letting the game flow and being incompetent.
