KilsythCoyle
Fingers crossed for another 3 points today. Home game, good playing surface, dry day, hopefully another good positive performance from the lads!!!

KilsythCoyle
Disapointed with the result today would be an understatement! Not seen a refereeing performance as bad and as biased as that today for a long long time!!!! What a joke. More or less handed the full 3 points to the Winton Rovers players. A draw would have been a fair result today. Kilsyth played very well in the first half and went in with a deserved 1 nil lead. Should've been a couple more to be fair. Second half, Winton came out the traps well and dominated the second half. Got a well deserved equaliser through their pressure. From then on into the second half, the referee lost the plot and showed his true colours. This eventually led to him giving Winton one of many free kicks, which led to a controversial 2nd goal. A game that was full of bad blood, ruined by a very poor referee!!

meiklebin
Surely this referee should take a good look at himself, if he was a player he would have been withdrawn and substituted after 10 minutes. This is whats all wrong in Junior football when match officials as bad as him are allowed to officiate and ultimately ruin a game. It is a disgrace that people like him are allowed to officiate over a game and cause trouble between teams and players due his biased decisions. How are we expected to have sportsmanship in our game when we are faced with incompetent officials such as him and who are quite willing to pick up their money no matter how bad they are. Having said that I take nothing away from Ardrossan who played very well and possibly on their second half display deserved their victory
auldgeezer
The referee wasn't that great but we didn't play well enough in the second half. Sat back, let Ardrossan dominate then we got caught up with too many personal feuds, giving away stupid fouls and bookings for arguing with the ref. We'll done Ardrossan, just shows how difficult this league is going to be. We'll be training hard and be re-focussed for next week.
cadlad
Winton deserved the points.... Better team full game! How went in 1-0 down was incredible. Referee was poor both ways.... Sour grapes
KilsythCoyle
You must've watched a different game then buddy!! Winton were never in the game first half. Could've and should've been more than 1 down. 2nd half they were excellent and Kilsyth very poor. The number 10 ran the show for Winton. Great wee player. Over the piece a draw would've been a fair result, ignoring the poor refereeing!!! At the end of the day, we're all entitled to our own opinion, and that's mine!!! auldgeezer
Dont agree Ardrossan were the better team the full game but they deserved it on second half performance. Certainly no sour grapes from the Kilsyth team
KilsythCoyle
Defo no sour grapes!! A mixture of poor refereeing and a poor 2nd half performance from the Kilsyth team. That's football sometimes!!

Euzi
How did he stop Kilsyth scoring more than winton? By not sending the no9 off for elbowing. The guy then scored both winton goals.

Euzi
Not sour grapes. It's a fact. I spoke with winton committee and they agreed ref was poor and that no9 was lucky to stay on the park.
