Apparently you can retain "unbeaten" status in the Scottish Premiership even if you get horsed 4-0 by Celtic.

The papers toe the party line when you consider all the other shite they try and brainwash us into believing has been posthumously 'retained' since 2012. I doubt even any of us doddery auld cnuts on here could be taken in by this one.

Nothing about the Pars beating West Brom and Everton either.

The person who wrote the article clearly has very limited knowledge of any such ties not involving Celtic and the old, dead Rangers.

Is Airdrie beating Man City, Huddersfield and Forest in it?

I dont understand how you get this wrong. Undefeated isnt just something a normal person assumes.

Surely the person writting the headline/article would just look at the table with that one big fat L on it?

Could you narrow it down a bit - would that have been Airdrieonians, Airdrie United, Airdrie FC.....?

Sorry, just been in the Tinpot thread and my brains a bit fried.

@Sergeant Wilson Did Airdrie lose a lot of fans when they 1/ moved from Broomfield (I thought it a lovely ground) and 2/ went bust and then the shenanigins with buying Clydebank?

Yes, bar for the odd wee spike, it's on a downward trend since to mid 90s.

Willing to forgive this as a "but of fun". It's when the BBC (England) Sports page does a full day's (non match-day) live blog based on something like "vote for your favourite goal of the weekend" or "who was the best English right back of 1983", that's what does my nut in....

Does this still apply if you lose 9-0 to Celtic? Asking for a friend

It would do, but sadly you've been getting horsed by everyone else as well.

From BBC's (i know) Livi - County match report:

Quote

Jordy Hiwula latched onto a poor clearance and raced through one-on-one with Sheldon George. His shot thundered back off the crossbar, but Owura was on hand to head home the rebound."

Who?

Blimey!  I have no idea what that last sentence is meant to be trying to say.  Was the journalist writing that in the queue at a kebab shop at 1am?
