Didn't appear in either final and had about 35 minutes in total over 10 matches. Are you a Daily Record journalist?

Aye he still has the medals though :P I was more making the point that being a squad player at Real Madrid isn't exactly the same as doing nothing for three years.

Never heard of this James Flynn character. Can only assume he's on a serious windup.

:lol::lol::lol:

I think the Record only employ this guy as a sort of parody columnist.  He's their "resident Celtic blogger" and it's the Daily Ranger after all

This isn't even Terrible Journalism really, just fucking odd. Why is a PSG match report in the BBC's Scottish Football section?IMG_3793.thumb.PNG.3059e246d5b9b55811c9ea4194351224.PNG

It's because Celtic play them this week and we all need to know how their next opponents are faring.

They even had the match text thing on their site update the PSG game.

Getting even more ridiculous, if that's possible.

You're right - that will be the reason.  It's essentially there as an OF story.

It's as if they have a bet in their office about who can get their work on this thread most frequently.

Sun has Tommy Wright laying into Murray Davidson for coming off ill at half time. Bit harsh, since the paper also gives Davidson credit for setting up Saints' goal in the second half.

If you read it properly, it definitely doesn't say that. There's nothing wrong with that article.

Ahh my bad, only read the article not the headline bit. Fair enough, stupid article it is then.

It does seem to correct itself later on, strange stuff, especially since Thomson was at the match yesterday.

A lot of papers this week featuring interviews with Patrick Roberts and Scott Sinclair with the players thinking they are going to get in the England squad due to playing well in Scotland.
That's never going to happen. Crap article and waste of column inches.

Yup, Alan Thompson got one measly cap when he was at his peak and England had next to no left sided midfielders.
