Stu
Noticed the Sportscene caption last night claiming Dreyer's penalty was his first goal since he arrived on loan from Esbjerg. Someone better tell Brighton that considering they signed him last summer and sent one of their scouts to watch him on Saturday.
MarkoRaj
Thompson using the phrase "you just got owned" was unbelievably cringe

senorsoupe
https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/47871121 So 49.3% of the goals in the Scottish Premiership have been scored by non-Scottish players, meaning the majority have been scored by Scots. Is this good? Is this bad? The lack of good analysis (comparing to years past etc..) means this article doesn't provide much useful info IMHO

true_rover
Dreadful "articles" like this that keep popping up on the Scotsman website.https://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/football/all-42-spfl-grounds-as-seen-from-the-sky-1-4904380Worst bit of this one is how outdated some of the pictures are - some of them missing the pitch!

Fucking hell that's bad. It's a horrendous MS Paint cut job from Google Maps. Half the fucking stands are cut off in some of them.

nsr
That's laughably bad. If my 7 year old had done that for school I'd tell him to do it again before handing it in.

Could have at least searched for better pictures, or (if he can afford it) got off his arse and taken a drone and got a couple of pictures himself but he hasn't even bothered doing either of those Pretty sure the Hearts stadium doesn't look like that any more. Would hope its a very late April Fools. Genuinely awful.

Thanks to Onward we can see what all 42 SPFL football grounds look like from the air. As you'll see, some have been taken during pre-season, while others are slightly dated, namely Tynecastle and Falkirk Stadium. https://www.onstride.co.uk/blog/every-football-stadium-in-the-uk-as-seen-from-the-sky/ Quote Methodology The identity of each current club (from the 2018/19 season) in each major league in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland were found from the official league websites. Where possible, the location of their stadiums were identified from each club’s official website and then located on Google Maps for the satellite view. Sources For the full research behind these images, including the sources for the stadiums, visit http://bit.ly/UKfootballstadiums This is literally terrible journalism, since it isn't journalism at all. It's a repost of a blog who's taken a bunch of screenshots of Google Earth and done a terrible job at cutting them out in Photoshop. I would have trusted @Hedgecutter to do a better job during his lunch break.
Miguel Sanchez
The more I think about it, the more this is irritating the shit out of me. There is something interesting to be had here, if you do what LiviLion said and get a drone up to take pictures or something. You could look at the areas surrounding a stadium and them compare it - residential streets, roads, train lines, whatever else, and see how it varies between stadiums built in different years. This is just... pish.
