There’s a difference between attending a game and covering a game you utter simpleton.

Graham Spiers has covered at games at Ibrox despite having his press privileges revoked.

Really no need for such an outburst, it makes you look rather childish.

Point.  Missed. Spectacularly.

If a new club have taken umbrage at something one of your employees wrote, and you back your employee, you are quite right to refuse to bow to said new club's demands.

The shame of course, is the simpering, if you will, "sooky" way all matters Sevconian are treated by the BBC. It should be "You don't want us there? Fine." And black them out totally.

"St Mirren have only lost once at home in the league this season. That was back on 12 August, and they were back at home after a run of away games against a side they had beaten twice already this season."

1. St Mirren were away from home on August 12.

2. Our only home defeat in the league was on December 2.

But apart from that...

When talking about the things that happened during Stewart Regan's tenure as SFA Chief Executive, David Currie on reporting Scotland referred to "it" as "the demise of Rangers' old holding company".

I noticed that.

An absurdly convoluted way of saying (or more accurately, of not saying) something.

It's funny.  When Rangers' - or anyone's - transfer activity is discussed, nobody refers to a holding company conducting such business.  That only comes into play it seems, when liquidation is the topic.  Another example of the ludicrous mental and linguistic contortions required to pretend that the events of 2012 provided no significant interruption.

Is there an official stance on this from both sides?

I believe that Rangers will not extend press privileges to a specific BBC reporter because he gave accurate information about arrests of Rangers fans for sectarian behaviour at Easter Road.

The BBC in turn, won't accept being dictated to in this way and therefore don't send anyone.

The BBC are obviously right to resist such bullying.

It is obviously the case that journalists are frightened of reporting the truth regarding the Govan lot.

We just need to look at the tweets from the tennis guy to explain this. All this sorry episode does is to reduce the credibility of both the journalists and the rangers.

Thanks for clarifying that. The BBC need to stand up to the rangers by not reporting at all on the games other than reading the scores.

Yes.

In reality, their stance is pretty half hearted and inconveniences them more than it does Rangers.
