East Region Super League 2015-16

Recommended Posts

so lets get this straight, work will take 10 weeks and Kelty will be playing away during this time so they will have played a

minimum of say 7 league games allowing for Cup games.

23 games left, of which 15 will be at home on a plastic pitch different to the majority of surfaces in the league, surely that is an unfair advantage is it not ?

If the ground work cant be done during the break, maybe allowing for a couple of weeks overrun, then Kelty should still be

given home games but play them away from Central Park, whilst appreciating that this isn't completely down to Kelty, why should the rest of the league suffer.

Good luck playing games at Ballingry. Park is very overgrown & id imagine the changing rooms, food hut etc has not been touched since day the club closed down. Its a shame to especially as they have the training area at bottom which could be used.

Still no decision on the downfield appeal as it will probably go to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

As a result there will be no North division or Premier league for this season and all the clubs in these divisions will be in abeyance until it is resolved in March 2016.

All Away

Whilst acknowledging the situation with Kelty. I still feel it is unacceptable - all fixtures at this point should be balanced home/away.

If their park is not ready for the season starting (not blaming anyone) then they should be required to seek an alternative home venue until such time as it is ready,

You now could be faced with a situation come the end of the season - Kelty having a run in all at home and therefore could be deemed as an unfair advantage when the league is being decided.

Ffs, dry yor eyes min. We could easily be out the picture after 2 weeks. All hard games in the SL, but look at the 3 venues were heading to in 8 days, whilst Bo'ness play there first 2 at home. Plus no income. Aye that's exactly the scenario we wanted!!!

Very difficult to win back to back titles, especially the SL. Plus history tells us from either side of the flints that trying to negotiate the big Scottish ultimately hinders ur domestic aims.

Imo, Only gd thing to come out of this will be, if we play 4 or 5 in a row. Let it b the winter then at least there's s chance of some football getting played and teams won't go 6 weeks without a competitive game.

Lithgie played 10 home games from 14 in the first half of last season.
