Growing old.

Recommended Posts

Okay, I'm only 42, but the aches and pains are starting when I get up.

I played Union to a high standard and have put my body through a fair bit.

Have any of you old c***s seen a time when your body starts to go down hill?

From 55 onwards I noticed a decline - and I didn't have much to decline from, tbh.

Did you mention that youse complain a lot more too ?

I definitely complained more when I was younger. I don't have the energy for it now.

I've found I care a lot less about stuff these days. Things don't wind me up half as much as they used to. I still hate people in general but I can only be bothered to sneer at them from afar and avoid them wherever possible. I no longer feel such a urge to let them know that they're c***s. They can work that out for themselves.

Mrs M sums up how I feel rather well.

I'm starting to find plot/drama better than action/violence in films and TV.

Thank goodness I haven't got that old...

(Although it has to be fairly quiet violence.)
