I knew a guy who got struck by lightning carrying parts of an exercise bike up onto a remote hill up in Assynt. Same guy also got 'hit' by lightning whilst using an emergency phoneline 100ft under the ground in the Alps (the box on the surface got hit with the current travelling down the wire through to the side of his face).
