I would have agreed with you Monkman, surely no-one would be stupid enough to shoot their party in the foot with elections coming up. But then I'm reminded of the behaviour of several SNP party members who were selected to fight elections and by-elections. You know, the sort that beats up their wife and their daughter, the sort that grossly mismanages trust funds, the sort that is guilty of sexual harassment and the sort that steals donations to a food bank for their own personal use. And then there's the fact that the whole Scottish Nationalist movement was led by a guy who had to "apologise" for a "misunderstanding" when a member of his staff complained about his sexual harassment of her at Bute House in 2013 and the contributions that Nationalists have made to the same persons attempts to fight off allegations of further sexual harassment.
