I can't answer the above until I've had confirmation on how misogynistic it would make us vile Seps if I called May "Mumm-ra's Ringpiece".
Because she does look like Mumm-ra's ringpiece, tbqh

I think I must have missed that episode of Thundercats so I can't really help you on that one.

Hopefully we get a lot more support from other parties politicians when indyref 2 is officially announced by the way.

The Tories will lead BT2, Labour will split I actually think, they'll officially back the union, but some members will openly back independence.

The Lib Dems will stay out the picture, Rennie will back the union, but they're now too much of an irrelevance to make a difference.

The Greens, SSP, Rise will all back the SNP.

We'll soon know within a couple of hours, but surely the press conference at Bute House won't be just a "this is your last warning" speech?
There just has to be more to it...

It looks to me like they're announcing a proposal for Indyref 2, forcing the ball into Mays court before the party conference.

Wether May plays ball, or not will be out of the SNP's hands and could strengthen their argument for independence.

My hot take

Scottish Govt now aware there is no differentiated deal for Scotland as part of Brexit negotiations. It is with a heavy heart that Scot Gov have no option but to now ask the Scottish parliament to give the FM the authority to negotiate a with Westminster on time and terms of new independence referendum.

Do labour actually have enough people left to have a split??

There'll be a schism between the 'absolute clowns but you feel a bit sorry for them because they're genuinely useless' faction, led by Kezia Dugdale and Alex Rowley and the 'absolute clowns but you have no sympathy for them because they're genuinely muppets' faction led by Anas Sarwar and Jackie Baillie.

Bailie has to be one of the most hateful rentagobs ever to wade on to the Scottish political scene. She's the epitome of the entitled old guard of second-rate nobodies that Labour parachuted into the branch office Z-list.
