Perhaps not but your assertion of pro Independence at 43% is inaccurate. As I have demonstrated.

There I am giving you an opportunity to add some of your mobs votes to the good guys in the SNP instead of it's more contemporary use of propping up the Conservative and Unionist parties genocidal racist nonsense, and you just throw it back in my face. Sad.
Guest Jedi
I don't doubt that around 37% of Labour voters are 'Yes' on the constitutional question, and 'if' there was a Ref, then that would be crucial in getting Yes over the line. However, given that the next 'event' is the GE, and it's planned use as a de facto poll, on the wishes of the Scottish people, how people are currently intending to vote in that election is of interest. Clearly 2 years is a (very) long time in politics, and the SNP/Green vote as well as others can go up (or down). Time will tell. Hardly throwing anything anything 'back in your face;, or indeed suggesting anything related to the Labour Party propping up the Tories. I would rather think that, in the GE campaign, the Labour Party will be seeking to maximise its vote share, and not be 'working' with the Tories, given that it isn't a Yes/No choice.

But still, interesting to read the limp-wristed Alex Massie the other day. The arch-appeaser has finally woken up to Sturgeon's ignorant rabble-rousing that your post exemplifies: A significant but welcome change in tone from Massie. Wasn't that long ago Lesley Riddoch was acting like he was about to jump ship to Yes after Brexit. Then again, oor Lesley makes a lot of claims. If the SNP manage to move the debate onto constitutional grounds and get the public to engage with the idea of a de facto referendum, with the SNP pitching for an independent Scotland back in the EU - how do you think Starmer's No free movement, f**k the immigrants message is going to go down up here?

williemillersmoustache
Jesus the carping on about Charles Kennedy is despicable. Ian Blackford didn't make him an alcoholic. Pointing out he couldn't say his own name by 3pm most days in the commons didn't kill him. His own party offering the poor man no support at all and pretending everything was fine however probably did. You have to remember that in the past Kincardine has proudly shared Tweets from extremists so awful they got banned from the platform. Blackford and his supporters harassed Kennedy in Parliament, in his office, his home and by email, phone calls and letter. Horrible behaviour but unsurprising from Scottish Nationalists.
