If she “hasn’t got” anything, that should have you queuing up to vote for independence. You needed less than f**k all to vote for independence from the EU. Why and how did Brexit win then? It had no strategy or economic case. You should know - you were quite willing to vote for it despite there being no planning or even a shred of a fragment of a plan. By your measure, you couldn’t have voted for it and it couldn’t have won.

Not directed to me but there was an economic case, albeit a medium term to longer term one.

Once free from the single market we would be able to do trade deals with the rest of the world on more favourable terms. The eurozone, albeit important, has an ever declining share of world trade and it was more important for the UK to align itself with the expanding countries of the world.

Now, you can agree or disagree with the merits of the above but there certainly was ‘a shred of a fragment of a plan’ as you put it.

That isn’t a shred of a fragment of a plan. It’s a possibility with a million variables. Like saying that if Scotland is independent, it can, you know, do trade trade deals with the rest of the world on more favourable terms and align itself with the expanding countries of the world. If that all that’s required to gain your support in winning Scottish independence, Sturgeon needn’t tax her staff too much.

Can we confirm: is this what UK nationalists are admitting will be adequate - a plan for independence which is of a piece with the Brexiteers’ “plan” for independence from the EU?
