Everything derives from My team: Rangers.  You can always work back to it.

Why are you calling her Jimmy Krankie ?   Fucking hate the wee boot.

Why do you hate her?   Coz she stands against everything that I believe in.

What's that?   The Queen, Marching with the band, splitting the union.  We fought in the war together etc.

Ah, so you're pro-monarch, British nationalist that supports an organisation that supports protestantism and celebrates 1690.

I’ve honestly never understood that element within the Rangers support that think every Rangers fan should be 100% PUL as surely almost everyone picked their football team before they started school, I’m not sure at that age we’re best informed on the inner workings of the Union, Benefits of a Monarchy and faith in God through the Protestant church. The irony with this element is they’d happily chase anyone who isn’t PUL out the support and as this is a fast shrinking percentage in modern Scotland the support would begin to dwindle until the club was an utter irrelevance but with a staunch fan base. Pigeonholing a fan base is never a good thing as it pushes people away from the club and will ensure Celtic are the dominant team going forward.

When I was a member of the Orange Order - and this is going back 40+ years - I was always uncomfortable with our lodge having a junior section.

The idea of celebrating the Williamite revolution is, as we all agree,  a good one but the social implications are such that it's best left to adults.

Something for the arseholes to think about.

This was posted at 4am...

Just caught up on the last few pages, a good laugh was had. The self righteousness and circle jerking here is actually off the scale, I imagine a lot of posters in this thread sincerely believe they are "the good guys" where as their poor loved ones and normal people in society just see some withdrawn conspiracy type racists going further down a rabbit hole of nationalism and identity politics.

What does posting at 4am have to do with anything, I often used to post on here at a similar time when I was working nights there’s many reasons someone could be up at that hour assuming he’s in this country. And as around 50% of the population seem to be in favour of independence I highly doubt all these peoples loved ones and “normal people” see it as some withdrawn conspiracy you make it sound like Scottish independence is a small cult movement. Labelling Nationalists as racists is lazy and I’ll informed as it’s civic nationalism not ethnic there’s a huge difference, the odd idiot who doesn’t like the English is hardly prevalent in the movement. You may as well use the often lazy Yes voters are Nationalist and Socialists therefore NAZIs which is just a total misunderstanding of those words.

I'm going to guess by the quality of the posts that the man wasn't in a sober state, sharing such SNP propaganda certainly would back that up.

Yeah not necessarily supporting SI but the way in which you do it is the point, I'd imagine 55% of the country would have concern over people believing such ridiculous posts as the one the poster made. You can downplay the amount of racist nationalists you have in the support if you like just be sure to call it out when you see it.

Imagine sharing “SNP propaganda” on a page for discussing Indyref2 where should he share it the Celtic v St Johnstone thread? As for 55% are you using the figures of 2014 as there is nothing to back up 55% being pro Union in 2020 and far more to show it’s closer to 45% or is the 55% gospel until a generation or lifetime has passed. I’ll call out any racists in the Yes movement if I see it but will you do the same for the Better together side? I guarantee you’ll be a lot busier than I will.

I just wouldn't share shite propaganda from any political party but maybe that's just me..

I'm using the figures that are the most accurate, you can presume it's 50-50 if you want but I'll go with the only conclusive results we've had in the past decade or so.

I find racism abhorrent on all sides, it's frightening that in my response to potential downplaying of racism within the Yes movement your instant reply is what about "Better Together". It's certainly not a competition..

Yea just stick with figures that are nearly 7 years out of date it’s not like anything has changed that could possibly alter those figures what with Brexit, Covid and the current government being the most corrupt in the history of the Union, you just ignore every poll that doesn’t suit your position. As for racism I wouldn’t take the moral high ground when you sit at Ibrox and listen to 90 minutes of anti Irish pish getting belted out from the stands. And it was you that was calling one side racist on here not me, I pointed out there’s racism on both sides.

I'd rather go with the figures from a process used to answer the question rather than speculation from the internet...

You're so pathetic, I didnt try and take high ground I just pointed out it was strange you were playing whataboutery with racism, that's very unhelpful if you're sincere in wanting to tackle racism. You're actually seething right now bringing Rangers into this, I don't want you to make it to the heads gone section mate calm down.

I’m not seething in the slightest and there is no need to resort to insults that’s truly “heads gone” you’re better than that. If you’re going to use statistics nearly a decade out of date to justify your position there really is no point engaging with you as those statistics are completely irrelevant as I’ve stated much has changed in the UK since 2014 so to assume that opinions haven’t changed is quite frankly ludicrous coupled with the fact that thousands of voters have died and been replaced by voters who’ve come of voting age. Polls may not be 100% reliable but give a good indication, how many polls show the 45/55 still remains.

Unionist logic

2019 Hung Parliament, polls showing Tory majority if they call a general election. But polls are not definitive and the only reliable data they have is the last election result which still says Hung Parliament.

Best not bother calling a General Election and just assume nothings changed in voting intentions as polls don’t mean anything.

Where?

You're such a back up dancer btw. Certainly one of those obviously not very bright posters. You can tell even your pro Indy pals on here cringe when you try and get involved.
