Carlaw is doing them no favours, 100% pure gammon.

That is his basic assessment of how increased support for independence has come about.

It's almost as if SiU and the Scottish Tory branch office have created a white noise shitstorm to try and hide this poll away. I'm on the point of ditching The Herald because of a lurch to the right, apart from the fact that it is a much impoverished paper from old. The Letters Page and the Your Views Online column have become echo chambers for hardcore self-loathing Scottish Unionists, and this has not gone unnoticed by the owners as the number of right-wing columnists has steadily grown and become more strident. They've obviously decided that this is the narrow circulation group on which the paper will die. The three Macs, McWhirter, McKenna and McConnell are all still worth a read but as for the football content...feck me.

You never did explain exactly how the idiots at Berwick were anti-English. Did they only shout abuse at cars with English registration plates, whilst ignoring all foreign registrations and plates starting with "S", or did they demand proof of Englishness before abusing the drivers? Maybe, just maybe, there was no anti-Englishness involved at all. Just like the Cornish protesters, they could have been objecting to people travelling from more highly infected areas to areas with lower infection rates?

These dumplings were a bit overzealous, but the fact remains that their sentiment is clearly shared by most folk in Scotland. Thankfully the "sensible majority" look and laugh at aw that and will just be quite happy to assert their independence next chance at the ballot box .

They upset Kincy’s friend here, whose racist, xenophobic brand of nationalism is apparently the admirable type.

JMDP
Kincy clearly getting right into it now that the pubs are back open. Must have been a day sesh at spoons yesterday followed by some weapons grade bathtub gin when he got in. -
DAFC.
It's been a simply delicious few days on Yoon Twitter since that poll dropped a bombshell on their "No 1 WnTz INdapeNDUnCE!!" narrative.

Poet of the Macabre
Wings Over Scotland commissioned a poll about a hypothetical pro-Indy party led by Alex Salmond, which it’s “claimed” Salmond knew nothing about *ahem* It claims up to 20 Tories would give their list vote to such a party - and people wonder why polls are treated with such disdain. Imagine donating money to this moonbeam and this is the nonsense he wastes it on. Either there are plans for the party, which means he’s a liar, or there aren’t any and this whole exercise was a complete waste of time.
