Scott Leitch
How come on the poll here for this thread When will Indyref 2 happen? there's no option for the most realistic and likely outcome? -
Scott Leitch
SNP have no mandate for Indy ref 2 as the majority of scots always have been and always will be against it. Scots nationalists have always been a minority lost in a world of fairytales, ignorance and delusion. The silent majority rule. Just because you see young SNP supporters on social media means nothing, total disregard for the most telling and important demographics. -

Scott Leitch
This thread poll is a classic example of that ignorance just a joke you can't vote for the most likely outcome as of course there will never another be another referendum. Scots nationalists should have moved on years ago.
Scott Leitch
I wonder what Scots nationalists viewpoint is on Sturgeons masterplan. "UK GOVT has been taking powers so lets get them back and become independent by getting out and then we'll hand them back to the EU." Of course Scotland would be screwed without financial support and as its debt is mitigated by UK govt her masterplan is to turn to the EU. Rather ironically with consistently the worst deficit in Europe Scotland would be denied entry to the EU's 3% rule. What a great economic case hats off. -

Ludo*1
Really is delicious seeing the Daily Express struggle: https://www.theguardian.com/business/2020/jul/07/mirror-express-reach-cut-jobs-manchester-evening-news-birmingham-mail My sympathy goes to people losing their jobs, but otherwise GIRUY to the Express.
Stellaboz
Would Indy2 be more successful if voters in England were allowed to participate? Seems like the majority think we're such a burden on them that they'd want rid of us. -
oneteaminglasgow
I’d be fairly surprised if the majority of voters in England even think about the make up of the UK, and whether Scotland/Wales/NI should be in it or not.

This is the real minter for the loyalists. I suspect the majority of English people have a detached attitude towards the UK - they like the idea of it but don’t much care if Scotland continues to be part of it. English people are probably rightly more concerned with England’s governance than whether Scotland remains subservient to it. This is despite the cringing adulation from hardcore Scottish BritNats, who cries of fealty are probably every bit as embarrassing as the Northern Irish loyalists’ - if, that is, the majority in England are even aware of their existence.
Bairnardo
How many posts does it usually take for Malky to be outed? Is this alias setting a record? Unbelievably terrible trolling. Surely theres some online course or something he can do on the very basics?

One could compare cities like Glasgow to Newcastle, Liverpool, Manchester etc but the fact of the matter is we have absolutely nothing in common with these "traditional" working class cities anymore. What does Scotland have in common with England, politically-wise? We're heading in completely different directions; Brexit and subsequent GE's have backed this up. I doubt much of England seriously cares if we leave or not, bar some colonial, borderline fascists that will see it as the last dying light of their precious empire finally going out.

Whatever you need to tell yourself to feel better Antliom m8. Of course the English are more concerned with their own govt and country it's not just us the majority here in Scotland who don't give a toss about the blinkered and one dimensional SNP. But the whole of the UK. SNP wallow in their own sense of self justice with complete denial of the reality of just how much of a disgrace and embarrassment they really are. -
Scott Leitch
The attitude of many is let them have their independence, bugger off and see where it gets you. That's where the wise majority come in. Many Scots Nationalist supporters don't even bother to present a political case for independence thesedays as every single angle has been torn apart. Instead they simply desire independence and if it left every individual in the country much worse off and Scotland in dire economic condition they wouldn't care as they'd got what they wanted. -
