BFTD
I, for one, will weep when the Tories are disadvantaged in any way. Hopefully someone will start a crowdfunder for them.

What treatment do you suggest should be meted out to the 690,000 Tory voting Scots in unlikely event you ever achieve Scexit? The tories have killed an estimated 120,000 with their draconian welfare/austerity programme. So calling them scum is valid.

What treatment do you suggest should be meted out to the 690,000 Tory voting Scots in unlikely event you ever achieve Scexit? I daresay that if you set aside the extremes on all sides and recognise that an independent Scotland will be governed proportionately and that the 690k will have the voice their proportion deserves, the "treatment" will be democratic. Much more so than Scotland being removed from the EU wholly against the expressed wishes of its people. I was on that march yesterday and I didn't sense any likelihood that the thousands around me were intent on armed struggle. We will though embrace independence from the UK sooner rather than later.

Maybe relax a bit mucker. Hardly paranoid to think that a section of the population who are regarded as "scum" may be disadvantaged in some way should the other sect gain the wherewithal to do so... Incidentally, the challenge with something like an AUOB march is that fringe groups tag on. There were significant numbers of Socialist Worker signs about the Tories, the British state etc. I'm no more likely to entertain these groups than fly but it's one of the staples of mass demonstration - whether it's Brexit, Iraq, Trump visiting or whatever. I'm left leaning rather than hard left so probably the only thing I have in common with some of these people is that Scotland should have the right to choose. I don't need the "protection" of 60m people from another country. And neither do you.
John Lambies Doos
The Scottish branch of the IRA marching freely, the denigration of anyone who supports the opposition party as "scum" are quite concerning.'The Scottish branch of the IRA"You hear yourself... ArabianKnight
A Force For Good figures are out. Personally I completely believe there was only 10k on the march yesterday. The rain and wind put a lot of folk off

DeeTillEhDeh
Beautiful sentiments there. Tories, regardless of their race, gender, religion or anything else, are scum. They are not scum. They are vermin.
DeeTillEhDeh
Side note: this is why the SNP are a bit wary of sending anyone mainstream to these things, one bit of footage of Sturgeon or Swinney smiling and waving cut with someone shouting up the ra is very dangerous. Also AUOB are run by the IndyRef2 now types - some real howl at the moon stuff on their FB pages - Sturgeon selling out the nationalist movement etc etc. Haven't check all their backgrounds but most seem to be Trot Nats.

pandarilla
In an independent country we will be perfectly sensible on how we deal with Tories. We haven't nailed down the detail but it'll involve converting them into some sort of fertiliser so we get left wing governments forever and pure hunners of tomatoes. Surely we'd need to try thon conversion therapy treatment first? Then the tattie manure.
