Swinson saying a majority vote for LibDems is a vote to stay in EU without another referendum.
So if the SNP take a similar position on Scottish Independence then I assume she will support it.

Sturgeon is certainly being handed plenty of material to throw back at people come the next referendum.

I hope the SNP and the Scottish judges they have in their pockets can continue to infuriate the gammon belt of England to such an extent that the tories have to consider putting a Scottish referendum in their manifesto [emoji23]

Willie Rennie already answered that for Lib Dems

"And to stop independence"

See when you read that, and think about the word independence, and what it means, it's a wee bit vomit inducing.

I am fucking ashamed of my abstention in 2014. The good news is Mrs B will vote whatever way I tell her to so I can repay my debt with 2 Yes votes.

It’s not a second referendum when it’s to do with Brexit - then it’s the rank “people’s vote”. I say the SNP should troll f**k out of Swinson and her Tories by referring to IndyRef2 as a Scottish “people’s vote” and then watch Rennie and co struggle with why they both support and oppose them.

The Lib Dems don't give a f**k about logic. I saw Rennie on TV earlier being asked why he wanted a coalition with Labour at Holyrood but not at Westminster. He didn't even bother to justify their idiotic stance and just yammered about their popularity increasing.

They will say anything to anyone to get elected.

My only concern with the inevitable Scottish independence is that all the auld Labour, socialist types would come out the woodwork and put someone like Maduro in charge on the promise of free state handouts and we turn into another Venezuela.

Not that we get them knocking at the door, but if one did I'd ask him/her if they were in favour of a People's Vote or just ignoring the first vote and declaring UDI.

I don't normally put a lot of faith in Scottish Independence polls as they usually over inflate the "Yes" vote but the latest Scottish Independence poll by Survation will cause a few ructions I reckon.

59% of Scots in a poll of 1003 said they wished to Remain in the UK and only 27% of Scots said they wanted another Independence Referendum in the next 18 months.  51% also said that another Scottish Independence Referendum would make Scotland more divided.

Sturgeon said she would only call for a referendum when the polls consistently showed Scots wanted Independence so to answer the original question - NEVER! Thank f**k!

After brexit, which is still going on, the last thing we need is another divisive independence referendum.

Thankfully the majority do not want one and if it did happen the answer would be the same again, no. 🇬🇧
