Labour are aiming to end austerity.

The SNP plans mean permanent austerity.

You really are trying out anti-independence slogans for next time, aren't you?

The damage to Labour for standing side by side with the Tories last time is becoming clearer every day. Well, that and every pronouncement surrounding Brexit as they "co-operate" with May's strong and stable government.

It will be another wishy washy statement, not committing to any timescale or anything of substance. Nicola sure loves taking her separatist cult followers for a ride. And let's not forget she does not have the power to call a referendum in the 1st place.

Its never been conclusively settled whether we require WM's permission, if we do its a pretty shoddy union.  I suspect that might be part of Nicola's statement.  I fully expect the statement to announce an intention to hold one and a timescale.

She knows it’s a waiting game, the troops need to be patient and hold out. There’s no need to rush this. It’s gonna happen.

The one crucial factor in all of this is the Scottish government have an unassailable cast-iron rock-solid mandate to hold an independence referendum in this parliament.  There's no getting away from that, and they definitely will try to hold one.  Westminster will definitely try to block it.  Where we go after that who knows, but those are the facts of the matter.

And, rehashing the oldest argument in the book, if we really were subsidised they would be delighted to let us go, but are utterly desperate to keep us.  A child could understand the implications of that.

Let's get away from discussing whether Kuro is a previously banned poster.

Do any of the yoons want to provide a coherent response to this one simple statement?

Not a yoon, but the reason the English want us to stay is ideological, nothing to do with economics. Same as why they want to leave the EU. Apart from ERG types trying to make a quick profit by short selling and fucking up everything.
