England is more left wing than Scotland if you go by polling!

Wow.....that is incredible.

we in Scotland have had decades of right or moderate right wing government now, entirely due to the right wing opinion of the more populous English voting block

...I am interested in how such a sudden seismic shift in the thinking of the Southern electorate could have come about...

Well there has been a huge spike in nationalism.

The SNP are a centrist party in the New Labour mould with a nationalist USP. There is nothing left about them.

The SNP are more to the left than any UK government since the mid 70's.

What puts them to the left of New Labour?

Even today they have indicated that they are going down the academy route with secondary schools.

I'm ashamed to admit it but I didn't actually think this was HB at first.
The argument he's trying to get going now is one of his favourites though. Whatever fresh angle he takes with an alias, it all comes around to the same few snorefest arguments in no time.
Just mention Northern Rock and he'll scuttle back under his rock.

Fellow Scots, I think you mean.

Indeed. Some fellow Scots are bitter though. You're welcome across to our side any time though. Why stay with a UK govt that's patently incompetent? Anne Budge might as well sell Hearts to Celtic as that 'unity' may mean more success... broad shoulders an aw that pash.
