City v Shire tonight, 7.45 k.o. Programme. Pies. Pish... Exciting football.

City won 1-0. Late arrival and resultant late kick off seemed to up set East Stirlingshire as they proceeded to kick lumps out of City for most of the game.

When the ref has no option but to book people in a pre-season friendly you can guess some of the tackles were a bit "robust" and one of our players has a busted nose after a flying elbow..

It was fortunate for the genteel Ms Allan who was running the line on the stand side she is used to such deplorable scenes having officiated in the Scottish Women's Premier League....

we draw a veil over such unseemly violence and give you a nice picture of the moon next to one of Meadowbank's magnificent erections...
