GNU_Linux
Germany has it right. First round in the DFB Cup the big clubs are automatically drawn away to lower league opponents. How long has this went on for ?France does similar where a team gets home advantage if there us two or more division between them & their opponents

lanky_ffc
Bayern have had their doubters this season, but they've turned up tonight. Completely dominant performance and could be further ahead at the break. Coman the standout for me so far.

FifeArab
Bayern played well In the 1st half tonight but the 2nd half they were sloppy.
AyrTroopMajor
Nurnberg are going straight back down. Honking team. Shoutout to Don Hutchison on commentary for slating Hertha's performace despite them winning comfortably.
German Jag
A new year, but still the same old same old from H96 as they lost 1-0 at home to Bremen. No show from H96 in the 1st half, with Bremen taking a deserved lead on the 1/2 hour mark via a goal from Kosovan international Milot Rashica. 2nd half some improvement, but despite a bit of „frantic“ goal-mouth action, nothing to show.H96 remain bottom on 11 points with Nürnberg, who they play in 3 weeks.Lots of speculation in the local press about trainer Andre Breitenreiter‘s future.Next up, a presumable gubbing, away to Dortmund.
Stellaboz
Tough for Hannover to keep up such a high consistency though, they've done well the past few seasons.
German Jag
Always goimg to be difficult for 2nd bottom H96 away to top of the table Dortmund, but aquitted themselves well enough in the 1st half (1:0 for BVB) until everything went to pieces losing 3 goals between the 60th & 67th minutes. Bakalorz got a consolation goal with a couple of minutes to play, with an injury time goal from Witsel to finish things at 5:1 for the home team. Result leaves H96 still stuck in 2nd bottom, although no change at the bottom of the league with the bottom 6 teams all losing. Trainer André Breitenreiter was relieved of his duties yesterday afternoon, with Thomas Doll being given the job of averting relegation. Next up a Friday night game as H96 host RB Leipzig.

Love your weekly updates with pictures, particularly from away games, just a shame they are always reporting on a defeat/pumping. Stuttgart look like they are there for the taking if H96 were to come into some kind of form, maybe they will have some sort of new manager bounce. Any January signings likely?

Düsseldorf’s run of 4 wins from 5 has probably done enough to keep them out of any relegation battles. So now a mini-league of 4 (Augsburg, Stuttgart, Nürnberg & H96) fighting to avoid the 2 automatic spots as well as the play-off. As regards players coming in, record club signing Jonathas is back from his loan spell at Corinthians. Defender Kevin Akpoguma (from Hoffenheim) as well as forward Nicolai Müller (from Frankfurt) have been brought in on loan. Was reported today that H96 & Dortmund had agreed a deal regarding Kagawa, subject to the player saying yes as well. Kagawa has now announced that Beşıktaş is his preferred option.

Still, off to Berlin on Friday - this will come in handy / soften the blow
Stevie Aitken's Love Child
Been watching Hostein Kiel absolutely batter Augsburg in the DFB Pokal tonight, but some very wasteful, and at times downright shocking, finishing from Kiel has kept it to 0-0 against a dreadful Augsburg. Augsburg have just scored with about their first shot on target in the 85th minute. Can't believe how bad they've been, look like a team who very well might be going down.
