There is a guy that lives next to my mother,a right old sweetie wife,a really nosey old guy..a bit like Norris from Coronation St he has one of them big golf ball type noses and my younger brother calls him Noseybonk! So does my maw...class

Some of the horrendously dubbed foreign language series that were used as low cost filler content were good for a laugh when you had no real clue what was going on because so much was lost in translation. The Flashing Blade from France and a Chinese one called Monkey with bizarre over the top kung fu action come to mind. The all time classic though was an East German series about two brothers that owned a coal field with one creating a workers paradise while the other did the capitalist exploitation thing.
