milton75
The BBC adaptation of Box of Delights was great. Saw it again a few Christmases ago and it holds up pretty well. Moondial was another decent one they did. Loved most of the cartoons listed, although I think my favourites were the wee 5 minute shows you used to get: King Rollo Trap Door Mr Benn Pigeon Street etc. I don't really remember much that happened in them apart from Mr Benn though. All-time favourites were either just Looney Tunes cartoons (Road Runner and Daffy Duck are my favourites), Tom & Jerry, and The Pink Panther Show. The cartoons with the stork trying to deliver a baby or Inspector Clouseau used to have me in stitches. Just remembered; Pepe le Peu and Foghorn Leghorn were also brilliant from Looney Tunes. Would love to watch them again.

ETA - just remembered Spatz, the CITV show about the burger restaurant with their big rivals being a chain called "Blimpy" and in no way a reference to Wimpy. Ken Dodds Dads Dead Dog
BBC had better shows than STV in my opinion. Apart from that Dungeon Master show, Rolfs Cartoon Club and Palace Hill I can't think of anything else that was good on that STV.

milton75
Just remembered - I loved all the repeats of the old 60s and 70s shows that BBC2 and Channel 4 used to put on: The Invaders Land of the Giants Planet of the Apes The Champions The Man From Uncle The Saint The Avengers etc. And also the Saturday evening staples: Dukes of Hazard Knight Rider Manimal Automan Blue Thunder Airwolf Streethawk A-Team and before them usually Kickstart
JogaBonito
Ant and Dec and Cat Deelay I'm sure there used to be another show before them on Saturdays. Art Attack and the art-sie program Mark Speight (rest his soul) was on. Also fingertips. Fun House. Anyone watch Dream Team back when it was on Sky 1?
