BankieBear
First and second penalties were shockers how much you pay to get them.... Second one possibly. First one is stone wall. Clearly catches his trailing leg and young did well to stay on his feet
Argushenrik
Not quite sure about that but Joel made a hash of his penalty seen him do that previously, How is big Hashy playing...?

Aye he told me he's done taking them lol big hash is good. Dipped a bit with the rest of the defence. Start of the season they were solid and barely conceded. Still a beast of a guy that's good in the air and with the ball at his feet

kefc
Any update on how your pitch is holding up to the weather ? Do you think we will have a game on Saturday ?
BANKIEBILL
It's not a case of holding up ... The pitch is actually reasonably good in terms of drainage etc. However the weather through here has been incessant for last 2 or so weeks leading to the cancellation of Yoker's game on 7th and our West tie last week. It's been pouring again this week but if it dries up today and stays dry overnight and in morning then it may have a chance. I know it's frustrating ... altho not least for us , as we have programmes, catering, hospitality etc to consider ( as do all home teams of course ) ... V much hope it's on mate but it's in the hands of the weather gods. Of course if any of your players are reading this ... It'll be aff ... Enjoy your night on the sauce lads
BANKIEBILL
Just to follow up on this ... There is a chance for the game as it's currently dry and the wind doth blow. The guys have been down and decided that a 9am pitch inspection would give a better indication of how likely the game will be to proceed. The forecast doesn't show much rain but a little frost overnight perhaps with the weather looking quite calm by kick off .... So fingers crossed

Pride_of_the_Clyde
What are the realistic hopes though? The club are a potential asset to the town and Scottish game? What are the steps to move forward or are a club like this really happy to languish in the mid-reaches of regional junior football playing in a park even many locals are unaware of? Where can I read more on the work of the club trying to move forward?
Pride_of_the_Clyde
A permanent home ... stability and room to grow. What have crowds been like in recent years? What is the makeup of the clubs income? Gate receipts, private investment from board members, social club drink sales?
BANKIEBILL
Lots of efforts.whats your interest if I might courteously ask ? Crowds in the 300 - 500 region except for bigger games. V ambitious but without major funding or currently own ground.
