Troon Portland
Wing wizard ? That's taking it a bit far. 1 good game and 6 average to poor ones more like mate . Got told that by a lot of Beith fans when Calum first signed for us, but that never materialised. Sure, he had the odd quiet game, but on the whole he was a consistent threat & did well. Great to see him back!

That's good and I'm only really going with pollok then Beith form as was way too hot and cold for me . He's a very good type but just was never in the games enough for me , excellent in the air though consistently .

First of all, we welcome Glenafton Athletic in our league match with a 1.45pm kick-off. Always a close match when we play the boys from New Cumnock, sure this will be no different! The one
With both of our games frozen off, we will now play Saltcoats Victoria in a friendly match at Greenwood Academy's 3G park today. Greenwood 3G must be one of the worst parks about. But if it's available and keeps you ticking over. Kick-off is 2pm!

Troon Portland
Damp as you'd expect, but it was looking good when I saw it today. Not expecting a problem.
hunnersapepper
A very good 3 points for Troon today. Pretty decent game considering the elements. Both teams trying to play football on the deck. Home side should have put the game to bed first 20 mins of 2nd half missing couple of gilt edged chances after retaking the lead. Troon keeper had a couple of match winning saves. Also Ford keeper had top class fingertip save to keep them in it. Good entertaining in absolutely dreadful conditions for fans and players alike. Troon Portland
Troon F.C. are delighted to announce the signing of ex-Ayr United winger Peter McGill from Stranraer in a loan deal until the end of the season. Troon Manager Gordon Burns was very pleased to finally get his man. "I'm delighted to add Pedro to the squad for the rest of the season. He's exactly the kind of player we've been looking to bring in as he is young, pacy and direct and a natural wide player who can play on either wing and he'll add to the attacking options we already have at our disposal." If the transfer is processed in time, Peter will go straight into the squad for Saturday's game away at Kilbirnie Ladeside. Welcome to Portland Park, Peter! Troon Portland
Full-time score in today's friendly match: Muirkirk 0-2 Troon F.C. Scorers: Chris McKnight & Dale Shirkie (with a 25 yard screamer!) Difficult game in difficult conditions, but a very good workout with at least 45 minutes each for all of today's 17 man squad.
