People appear to be attaching importance on his denominational belief just because. Don't pretend that homophobia is only perpetuated by the religious because it obviously isn't. Don't accuse me of saying something I didn't say. There are plenty of homophobia that is not religiously 'inspired'. From what I could find there are 16 states which ban concealed carry in bars, and a handful of other states which do not technically have a ban but issue so few permits that functionally there is a ban on guns in bars. Thanks, I didn't know that. I'd say I'm surprised that the number of states which don't allow folk to arm themselves whilst drinking in a bar is that low but I'd be lying. Obama's due to make a statement in a few minutes. I don't think Islam is more intolerant than Christianity more they just haven't had to row back their opinion in the face of secularisation.
