btb
Any "old lags" appointed to manage a Championship team at this stage of the season will have a combination of success and failure as part of their CVs. Will be interesting to compare the Morton/Ayr results today and over the rest of the season - I reckon Morton have got the better end of the deals especially if MacPherson/Millen have the same hunger as 15 years ago, whereas Hopkin's managerial record seems less impressive especially with his success at Livi now coming with the caveat of how much was due to Martindale. Jan Vojáček
Jim Duffy's transfer window approach at Morton was to sign a few regens and jobbers and then wait until the final minutes to add someone half decent wasn't it? We're currently sitting with a squad of 17. Two of the 17 are goalkeepers; one of whom is injured and has a handful of games in the Bostik Northern League Premier Division South League or something to his name and the other of whom basically retired before lockdown. Daniel Church is injured for at least a few weeks, and we have 10 games in the next 30 days. Praying he pulls a miracle out the bag.

Sam isn’t the answer - no matter what the question is.

Must admit, I didn’t think even Sam would make such an impact on his debut! Comedy gold. it’s a pity his move to Falkirk at the start of the season didn’t happen - that would’ve kept us entertained for months and you guys would probably be one spot higher in the division now. Enjoy him while you can.

Haven't seen any mention of him since MacPherson was appointed but he doesn't appear to be in any of the matchday photos.
madton
Gus impressing again, solid, didn't give much away and looked dangerous, particularly second half when we dominated for large spells and really should have put the game to bed. Every confidence he will keep us up and look forward to him building a competitive and balanced squad for next season.

Stevie Aitken's Love Child
Omar just hasn't looked up to this level in the chances he's had. I think Wallace has made one sub appearance all season. He's about 5 foot tall.

I think he ran about upfront for a few minutes in the League Cup at one point but that might have been a fever dream

If we’re honest, it’s just ‘don’t know’. We’ve barely seen Wallace, and Omar, who played as a more or less ‘free’ attacking midfielder at the lower level, has never played there for us. Looked terrible in centre-mid and at right-back, but who knows if there’s something there at L1/L2 in his best position.
