He hasn’t really had game time. He is quick and strong. Doubt he will be firing them in unfortunately

Seconded. But hope he does well and returns with a bit of confidence and goals behind him.

Quick, strong and can finish. Scored a good goal for us at the start of the season. Wish him well, and hope he scores a few goals.

Cheers lads. The strikers we've signed so far this season have endured a pretty torrid time of things, so a young guy with a bit of pace and power would be a new option. Getting the ball into the net from about five yards has been a major issue too, so if he can do that then I'm sure he'll be a hit.

Looking at the natural strikers we've had so far this season only Calum Gallagher has had any luck putting the ball in the net, and even he's been struggling over the last month. Between them Andy Little (retired), Jack Aitchison (went AWOL), Rory Loy (injured almost all season) and Iain Russell (36 and has been in injured since November) have managed just two goals, with Beany getting both, so he shouldn't have too hard a task to improve on that.

We'll still take Robert Thomson off your hands by the way.

Armour is probably at the right stage in his career to start playing regular first team football. I actually think he'll do well at Dumbarton

Agreed. He's got the physical attributes and the work rate that should see him to pretty well in the 3rd tier.
Though if he doesn't score in the first 5 or so games, I reckon his confidence will go and that'll be that.

At this rate we could end up with more Morton players (current or former) at Dumbarton than at Cappielow.

It's Dumbarton's place in the pecking order to feed off The Famous' discarded scraps. Just like Largs Thistle rely on our crap youth regens to fill their squads every single year.

Am I entitled to the hope that, having run our complement of fit forwards down to two (McHugh and Thomson), Johansson must be confident that a striker is incoming?

Either that or Johnstone is currently auditioning for the role of Lazarus...

This is very true.

Morton diddies are far superior to Rangers diddies too.

Or more accurately is pretty average as he still performed terribly with your squad for 4 months and needs a blank cheque to make you better!! If he was that good a manager he would have improved your results when he came in!

Any half decent manager( actually prob don't even need to be a manager) could improve Falkirk with the money your board are throwing at him.

Desperate times call for desperate measures!

“I think Dylan is different from the midfielders we have. We have experience in midfield, and we were maybe looking for someone who can give us energy at certain times in certain games from the bench and the start"

Spot on tbh

Aye, sure... either that or you'll spunk more money than you can afford on signings (and pay-offs) that won't get you out of relegation trouble, before hitting full-blown financial crisis when the SPFL eventually determine your fine for tapping up 'super Ray'...

Could go either way...

If they were good enough to get those results they should have been good enough to do even better.  He’s bang average and only hyped up by Falkirk fans due to the circumstances around his appointment.

If you finish above us it’ll be more to do with our manager than yours.

Your worst squad in your lifetime proved it could get results against ICT and Dunfermline so why couldn't they do it on a more regular basis with the best manager in the world at the helm???

You see managers come in all the time and improve struggling teams.

Mckinnon and your board  are basically playing Football Manager and using the cheat function in the hope of making you better!
