Yeah I quite like the hoops on the 2nd one but the trim ruins it. On the other hand I thought the one on the right looked good but that weird... lattice pattern is shite. Yellow's the clear winner.
Dunning1874
Seeing that picture, the yellow is ruined by the hoops. Just have solid yellow and it'd look considerably better than trying to half arse a Parma top when you can't have blue the whole way down.
AsimButtHitsASix
I like the hoops on the yellow one. And I know fashion. I was in Camden last week,

It takes a lot of effort to design four totally different football kits, and for them all to look horrendous. The yellow one is probably the best option - but as Dunning says it still looks like a fake Parma top you'd see at an Italian holiday resort. I'm normally a big fan of a pink kits, but that one just looks cheap. Those collars have chafing written all over them.
Dr Watson
The second one would have been far better is they had kept to the actual design that was submitted.

Colkitto
Going by JJ's comments we're definitely bringing in more players in January. Along with Kyle Thomson (who's already left) I can see McLean, Tiffiony, Bell leaving too. McAlister mentions the players are playing for their futures as he imagines JJ will wants to stamp his authority on the squad. JJ mentions he has players already in on trial and will also look at the loan market along with players under contract at other clubs
JustOneCornetto
Pretty sure that yellow card today was Michael Tidser's 6th booking in league games, in which case he'll miss the game against Partick Thistle

Whatever you, me or anyone else outside of the boardroom thinks of him, as has been pointed out elsewhere the man will be manager of the club over this transfer window at the very least, and will probably be given till the summer or beyond unless we get dragged down into the relegation battle. Yes, the jury is still out on whether he’ll make a decent manager at Cappielow and we all remain to be convinced ( well, apart from you and a few others who prefer to be negative or contentious or knicker-wetting rather than open-minded till we see how January goes) but the sort of guff in the post quoted helps no-one. Just sayin’, like. Edited December 16, 2018 by Rudolph Hucker
TheGoon
What have we to be “open-minded” about exactly? We could sign Messi next month and it wouldn’t change anything about JJ’s rather glaring managerial shortcomings.

There's nothing you or I can say or do that will change the fact that he won't be leaving any time soon so some should calm the feck doon, let him and Houston get on with it and see where it takes us. There will always be a few of the usual mouths on sticks spouting bollocks like "fail to win this game and he should be flayed alive" but bollocks is what that is and it achieves precisely nothing. Looking at where we are in this league and at the teams round about us a decent window for us could see us pushing for a playoff place. Simple "fact-based analysis" of results if not necessarily performances. Johannson is obviously going to get that window and a bit beyond it to show what he can do no matter what is said by anyone on here so some should simmer doon and gies some peace, for a few weeks at least. Just sayin’, like. You're repeating variations on this 'open-minded' line like it's the only rational approach and anyone who doesn't follow the same logic is 'knicker-wetting'. Why is it? Why should we wait and see how January goes and cross our fingers in the hope that Johansson is some sort of transfer market genius rather than focusing on our appalling run of form? We've taken three points from the last five games and have only scored once. His total league record is P13 W3 D5 L5 F13 A22. That's absolutely dreadful, it's relegation form and we're getting worse as the season goes on. I agree that it's likely the club will give him January even if the winless run is extended to seven games by the end of this month, funnily enough due to the club's own ridiculous knee-jerk reaction in giving an unproven manager a two year deal in response to McKinnon leaving. We can respond to that by shrugging our shoulders and watching the club sleepwalk into a relegation battle while hoping Johansson turns out to be some kind of genius in the transfer market - and even at that the regression in Michael Tidser's performances in the last few weeks suggests there's no guarantee players who should be among the best in the division will perform under his management - or we can continue to point out that results and performances are currently miles away from acceptable and hope that if everyone's preferred outcome of Johansson coming good doesn't happen, the club will do something about it.

Ah, so going outside the stagnant cesspool of tried and tested failed managers and looking for someone fresh and new is a ridiculous knee jerk reaction now is it? Our squad is clearly unbalanced and is lacking in pace, creativity and strikers. No one would be able to turn this squad into an offensively minded, high pressing and scoring team. I suspect Rat knew that and that part the reason he jumped ship may have been because of it and the fact he was not solely responsible for the squad’s assembly. Still at least this season you are not boring the tits of everyone by droning on incessantly about our lack of holding midfielders. -

No, taking a gamble on someone outwith the usual group of out of work Scottish managers made perfect sense at the time, for all that it's looking increasingly like the risk hasn't paid off. The knee-jerk part was giving that manager a deal until the end of next season rather than the end of this one because we'd just been burned by a manager with a one year rolling contract walking away from it. Giving a first time manager a two year deal is completely unnecessary and means you're left with a bigger financial burden in the event that manager turns out to be a dud. No one disputes that the squad is imbalanced. At the same time no one can seriously believe it's so bad that managing just three points and one goal in our last five games is anything but a sign of a manager doing a terrible job of getting performances out of the players at his disposal. You of all posters accusing anyone else of boring the tits off anyone by droning on about one thing incessantly

None of us are exactly pleased by some of the performances we've seen lately or the circumstances we find ourselves in but another six weeks or more of assorted posters going on about having JJ flayed alive/horsewhipped/tarred & feathered or whatever variation on these their little minds can come up with will be tedious in the extreme. If he needs to be sacked then I think Crawford will turn out to be more decisive than Dougie ever was where managers were concerned. In the meantime dial it down a bit please.
