drs
Bens will win league Was at the game last night, John Brogan was certainly demolishing his half time pie!, and whilst the Big Mo is with the Bens and all they have to do is win their remaining games and they'll go up but its a tough call given who they have to play. Mon the Bens!! Anyway last night - Ashfield started brightly and the number 7 was put through in a one on one with the keeper but panicked and blazed the ball over the bar. Bens went ahead when a shot from distance was well saved by the home keeper, he parried it out well to the right but Bens got there first and the resulting cross was headed home. Second half and Bens rattled the woodwork before finishing it off with a great finish from a low shot from around 15 yards out. Ashfield had a fair bit of the ball but didn't really put the Bens under any concentrated pressure, even when they were sitting on the 2 goal lead - keeper was mainly dealing with crosses and long range efforts. Referee was inept, exceptionally inept for both teams. Also discovered when I got there that it was free admission, hadn't seen that advertised anywhere and thought there could have been a far bigger crowd if people had known they weren't required to pay. Mon The Port
With the way results have went this past week, I'd say to stand a chance of promotion the Port need to take 9 points from 3 remaining games.

bc57
Bens will win leagueIf they do then hat off to them as, by definition, they have the hardest task as they have the most games to play.
