Well, that's pish. THHP is the only football blog I've any time for and it's been fucking fabulous. Going to have to go back to surreptitiously watching porn on my phone on the bus on Monday mornings instead of Five Things We Learned. Boo.

Sad news but totally understandable. Pity there is no avenue to make it paid work. Really enjoyed the blog and even though it's being cut back, I hope the quality of interviews remain.

Always found it sad that Scottish football doesn't have it's own "FourFourTwo". Some printer/distributor/company is missing a trick I feel.

FF - if I win the lottery this weekend, I'll give you and the THHP team the key roles to make this happen.

Gutter. Really enjoy reading TTHP every week but can understand why the guys are taking their foot off the gas.

Genuinely the only place doing well written pieces on lower league football, I'll have to resort to making up my own news next season.

Cheers boys, appreciate the kind words and I'm glad to know people looked forward to reading it from time to time.

Tell Him He's Pelé will still continue (and plans are already underway for new articles and podcasts) but just not to the same extent. It got to the stage where I was using my annual leave to get stuff done, and I was beginning to dread Sundays because of all the work involved. I think the other boys began to feel the same way. And if it's not fun and you're not getting paid for it, it's probably time to hang back for a bit.

Still, look out for stuff like the decline of Alloa Athletic under Allan Maitland and Neil Watt's time in charge of Ayr United, they should be with you soon enough.

A sad day for football and the internet. I thought the Pelé Podcast was a sign that THHP was scaling up, so this comes as a bit of a surprise.

I hope you start missing the pressure of the weekly deadlines and get itchy fingers to start the regular features again in the future. Keep it going in some capacity and I'm confident that one day the Brooks Mileson of journalism will turn you into the next L'Equipe.

Sad news although totally understandable. Like everyone else has said the 5 things we've learned series was a highlight of my Monday morning walk to work. But you shouldn't be taking time off work for it so enjoy the rest from it.

I've yet to listen to any of the podcasts but have a week off soon so will give them a listen then.
