I feel bad saying it but it was meh. Nae positive season defining games and it just kind of stuttered along to the end.

However, taking Celtic as close as we did, getting to Hampden, paying a fee for a player, getting debt free and signing one of the best left backs in the league on a pre contract means it's been a helluva season for us! Break it down like that and there's very little to complain about.

We won the Scottish Cup, qualified for Europe and achieved our highest ever league placing, making our season the best domestic season for any Scottish club outwith the Old Firm for many years. We did all that while playing entertaining football on a tiny budget.

But the highlight has to be the #numbers our Twitter account is getting. We seem to have a tweet that gets over 1k retweets every week. Stunning stuff.

Consistent, but lacked the amount of real high points of the previous season - only game where I was 'buzzing' afterwards was our win in Groningen

(shows how disproportionately important cups are)
