jagfox
Apparently we paid you £200,000 to use the stadium and the promise of 2 players on loan for the season. Not bad bit of business from St.Mirren You better shift a lot of shirts to the locals to warrant that outlay
AberdeenBud
This article in the Record, I know, also quotes the 200k figure. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/local-news/supporters-furious-celtic-fc-branding-5986748 If true we'll have got more for letting Celtc play three games at our Stadium than we got for McLean. Mental.

Stu
Carey signed for Plymouth so we can forget that one. Him and Wylde on the left Not a chance we got £200k from Celtic. Think the figure of £60k has been mentioned on the Saints forums by folk in the know, seems a bit more likely.

FTOF
No. But there is a fucking museum in Prague And Amsterdam. We're interested in Chris Kane apparently. Any St.J fans shed some light on this. The player; not the porn museum.

Wouldn't surprise me, he had a good record last season at Dumbarton under Murray. I'm assuming by 'interested' you mean on loan?
Widge
Kane won't be going anywhere. He was starting to play more and indeed is third choice right now. Whilst I'm not sure he's Premiership ready yet, I'd be very, very surprised if we let him go.
djchapsticks
Anyway, I refuse to believe we're looking at him. Lex said there's no space in our budget or squad for another out-and-out centre forward, remember? Seven trialists with us according to Ian Murray. David Barron, Thomas Reilly, Stevie Saunders and some lad from Lothian amateurs are 4 apparently. Not sure who the rest are. I know there's a black lad training with us that some have said looks like Ibra Sekajja who was with Livingston last season, but there's no confirmation that it's actually him. There's also been no word on Shaun Rooney from Queen's Park who apparently is weighing us up as an option, though he is in quite high demand. Kyle
Kane has a 3 year deal with us, so doubt we would be offloading him all together. He's very much in our first team and I'd be disappointed if we loaned him out, but I suppose it isn't completely beyond the realms. I think the Dumbarton fans will know more about him than us frankly, but he's very highly thought of. Scored quite a lot of goals for Dumbarton, is reasonably good in the air and seems to be in the right place at the right time. Has snatched at a few chances early doors for us. You could certainly do a lot worse.

Didn't you follow a very similar pattern a few years ago with Stevie May in that you gave him a shot early doors in pre-season (and Europe if I remember) before deciding he'd benefit from another loan spell, then farmed him out to Accies? Difference being May moved up 2 divisions in his second year. Kane has already played a full season in effect in the Championship. I don't are the benefit of it and I'm sure Wright will feel the same.

I expect Sutton is coming in as a stick on first choice and I think MacLean is still there? Always thought he was quite an under-rated player at that level. Does Wright normally play two up front?eta, I guess there would be no point as far as St. Johnstone are concerned as well to punting Kane out to us to play second fiddle to Thompson either. Not that that would definitely happen with Thommo's injury record last season, but I can't see us signing him back up and not starting him when fit. In the photo I saw on Monday the guy on trial had much longer hair compared to Sekajja in the photos of the trial game he was involved in. He looked much more like the ex Spurs boy who was being touted, although he's signed for someone else.

We've got Graham Cummins who's a complete unknown to all of us and Michael O'Halloran who will be utilised on the left more this season if we don't bring in Danny Swanson. We've got a while before the window shuts, so it could be the case that we'll keep him for the first month of the domestic season and, if he falls down the pecking order, send him out then.
