Arch Stanton
Yes. In the eight competitive games since there were two draws and two St. Mirren wins the following season.Wishful thinking. In actual fact the following season there were three Saints wins (3-2 at Love St, 4-1 and 2-0 at Cappielow) and a 1-1 draw (at Love St).
Coventry Saint
I had completely forgotten that 0-0 in the challenge cup. Morton should have beat us that night, we rode our general, overall superiority and higher social standing a little. Fixed that for you.
sergie's no1 fan
It's going to be hilarious when this pipe dream of finishing above us blows up in your unwashed faces. That must be the first time a Morton fan has mentioned pipe without the word "crack" before it. Well done .
Rudolph Hucker
That must be the first time a Morton fan has mentioned pipe without the word "crack" before it. Well done . That kind of piss-poor patter from both sides was tedious years ago and hasn't gotten any better as it's grown whiskers. Still, at least YOU apparently enjoyed it............. sergie's no1 fan
The word is "THEIR", not "there". Twice. And "brew money" would be the price of a cup of tea. Not a great advert for Paisley standards of education, are you? I suggest you change your username from "Tedious Tom" to " Cretinous C*nt". Have a nice day though. bennett
St Mirren chiefs are set to rename their home ground ‘The Bernaboo’ in a bid to net the town a prestigious title. Club bosses are about to rubber-stamp a £66,000 two-year sponsorship deal with Renfrewshire Council as part of the UK City of Culture in 2021 campaign. The proposed new name was being kept under wraps last night, but the Paisley Daily Express understands that St Mirren Park will be rebranded The Bernaboo, or the Boocamp, for two years. Stu
It's true apart from the proposed name: http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/st-mirren-park-looks-set-6828054 Renaming St Mirren Park to the equally imaginative Paisley Stadium. I thought if you were a place of culture it meant you had lots of creative types?

vikingTON
Someone ought to send a memo round the cretins in your town council explaining why a 'city' of culture bid falls at a fairly basic hurdle btw. Unless Brechin is about to step up with the same claim in the following year.

Seemingly you don't have to be a city to bid for this, which makes me wonder why the whole thing is called "City of Culture". If this is the sort of intelligence and logic we can expect from the judging panel then we have a great chance.
