What's your points total been in the last 5 years , league position is pointless unless your in the top 3 ,have you even got to 40 points ,even that total is not going to challenge

37, 40, 36 and 39.

The year we got 40 points, Largs were promoted with 45 points. We got to the semi final of the Scottish Junior Cup and ran out of legs as the season came to an end, but we went into our penultimate match still with a possibility of promotion.

Those are facts.

Your obsession with wanting to point out our lack of promotion is actually quite sad. Why don't you do it for other teams that have been in this league for a while ? Why is it such a failure to be playing regularly at this level when it took so long and lots of money to get here in the first place ?

Just like annoying you , sad yes , good fun yes , going down yes

Time will tell. You've said it for the past four years in a row with your different user names that everybody knows, so hopefully you'll be as accurate again. ;-)

Here's something more useless stats for you. (Quiet day at work. :thumsup2 )

In our current four year long consecutive spell in this league, there are two other teams who have also been in the league every season and haven't been promoted or relegated - Cumbernauld United and Kilsyth Rangers.

Here's where these teams have finished over these four seasons :-

2014-15

4th - Cumbernauld United (41 points)

5th - Rutherglen Glencairn (39 points)

7th - Kilsyth Rangers (36 points)

2013-14

5th - Cumbernauld United (38 points)

7th - Rutherglen Glencairn (36 points)

10th - Kilsyth Rangers (31 points)

2012-13

6th - Rutherglen Glencairn (40 points)

8th - Cumbernauld United (38 points)

9th - Kilsyth Rangers (36 points)

2011-12

4th - Kilsyth Rangers (43 points)

6th - Rutherglen Glencairn (37 points)

7th - Cumbernauld United (36 points)

Total points gained and average points over the four seasons :-

Cumbernauld United - 153 points (average of 38.25 points per season)

Kilsyth Rangers - 146 points (average of 36.50 points per season)

Rutherglen Glencairn - 152 points (average of 38.00 points per season)

It's interesting that our friend yellowcard chooses to single out one team from those three to criticise for not getting promotion, when (in my opinion) they are all clubs of similar size and resources and fan base.
