Jackie would have been fine if the likes of Souttar, muirhead, Telfer, spittal and conolley had shown clear signs of progress under his guidance. It could be they were all dropped in at the deep end last season to early in their careers, but it's troubling that they all have a lack of consistence despite the opportunities given.
