Dundee United 2015/16 Season

Recommended Posts

Mixu may be gambling on boys but at least he's taking gambles that will improve the squad and address the issues McNamara couldn't see. 18 months time I think we'll be rid of all things Mcnamara, I'd like to see McGowan stay but doubt we'll keep him.

Really? I thought he looked like one of your better players on Saturday, in what was a good team performance.

He's our best player by a good distance, I doubt we'll be able to hold onto him I should have said.

You have to wonder why hes still available tbh, he's knew he was getting released from West Ham in about March time.

Sounds a very decent signing though

Has played 29 minutes of competitive football in 14 months  Not played 90 minutes since March 2014. Will be on a decent wedge too. This could be fun....

Well that's clearly wrong.

I haven't checked the total minutes played in those games but can guess it'll come to more than 29.

Edit: Oooft, some awful formatting there. Actually, having now had a wee look, you're only a wee bitty wrong it seems. Played the first 65 minutes of the game against Man U at the end of September last year.

The last 2 premier league appearances total 29 minutes. They came in January and December. His last one before that was last September. - 14 months ago. He played 2 minutes against Bristol City so you have my apologies. He has 31 minutes....

Nope - He's only a wee bit wrong 96 mins in 14 months with 65 minutes in the game you mention - so 31 mins in 14 months becomes a valid point on the 28th which, conveniently, is the day of his possible debut.

If we're being pedantic, the game against Man U was less than 14 months ago so it's 96 minutes. He last played 90 minutes in August last year, rather than March. But, yeah, apart from being totally wrong, you're totally right.

Surprised at this.

Will have to wait and see how he fares, re: pedigree vs. whythefuckishenotsignedwithanyonelseyet. Potentially exactly what we need on the defensive side of things. Same kinda goes for Eiji.

Strange times are afoot when there's an experienced and well-travelled brick shithouse international defender and 70+ capped unhinged Japanese keeper at one end, and a part-time ginger plumber labrador at the other end.
