Agreed JOS. Poor standard IMO but as bad for both sides. Certainly didn't help our young lads with the sending off. Super start from us but the story of our season is to play for part of 90 mins rather than 95 but no disgrace being beaten by a team littered with quality, experienced players. Your skipper in particular rose to the challenge. Hopefully our lads learn a lesson from yesterday. Tranent for me are by far the best team in the league.

Thanks mate, we do have a lot of quality in the squad. The sending off was deserved but for whatever reason you lost your shape, the ref was poor for both teams. Your 10,6 and both full backs who are about 16 will improve no end, with a bit of experience you'll do fine. Cheers.

Dunbar v Tranent is on- 2.15 k.o.

Ah, those East Lothian derbies of yesteryear- red cards fights, the ball being fired into the neighbouring Primary School window at Countess Park and knackering it, Toye scoring a penalty and running past the Tranent committee giving them the vickies...

Fife & Lothians cup:

Dunbar 2-3 Tranent

Tranent with 2 late goals (one a penalty)

Chris King (pen) and Chris Grant were Dunbar scorers.

Great game end to end, both teams played well, Dunbar deserved something out the game, we just don't know when we are beat! First time at Dunbar amazing setup. They have a setup that super league teams would be proud of.

Three called off games and I ended up watching Dunbar v Tranent great choice (eventually) though.

Dunbar very clever quick on the break with experience but no match for Tranent pushing until the very end. Only one team looking to win the match 2nd half with Dunbar sitting deep.

Good advert forSouth League though and what a great set up.
