Musselburgh juniors 5

Easthouses lily juniors 2

Few injuries and players away today but matched them well for 70 mins against a very good side, went one nil up and 2-1 up too but after very hard games this week, boys looked a tad tired last 20 mins! Great workout though!

So the odds are out from McBookie. What's everyone's thoughts. Look about right to me although quite short for Easthouses, although they have had some good pre season results.

13/8 Tranent

10/3 Easthouses

7/1 Whitburn

9/1 Rosyth

12/1 Blackburn Utd

12/1 Dunbar

16/1 Kirkcaldy

16/1 Livingston Utd

20/1 Lochgelly

33/1 Stoneyburn

33/1 West Calder

40/1 Pumpherston

50/1 Crossgates

Blackburn United 4 Northbank (Carlisle) 1

Good performance against a well organised Northbank side who started the stronger and eventually took the lead after 38 minutes. Wade equalised on the stroke of halftime and scored a second after the hour mark with a scorching free kick. Blackburn were dominating the second half and things got a bit tetchy with some strong tackling from the English side and a few ended up in the book, but the third didn’t come until two minutes from time with Gary Smith notching and it was Danny Campbell who wrapped things up two minutes later.

Next up at home to Larkhall Thistle on Wednesday followed by a trip to Edinburgh United on Saturday.

Difficult at this early stage, I would need to see more of the new signings first.

Agree but would be interesting to see what people think early and then how different it would be in 2 months!! Curious to see how highly some rate the new signings over last years players. Is there still room for Sam Young etc??? Not saying there isnt but 2 new strikers signed and performkng early whilst he is injured. Is Jinky better than Connor. Is Tattie still the captain or does Darren Gillon take it??

Is that question marks over Sam, Connor and Tattie? Are we looking for bites Huffy. Sam will play and don't think you can even question that although agree the two young boys look exciting prospects. Connor and Jinky will be a good battle but we haven't seen Jinky on the park yet this season so it has to be Connor in control of the jersey. No announcement on captain but can only presume it will still be Tattie.
