Easthouses game. Don't know the refs name but what a p***k. I know people say this all the time but he should genuinely get his licence taken off him. Shocking.

Bob did he honestly book every player on both teams.Ref was a Steve Wilson.

Blackburn United 11 Kirkcaldy YM 0

The first half was fairly even with Danny Campbell notching the only goal. Second half Burnie just blitzed YM with 10 goals in 31 minutes. Campbell finishing with double hattrick and Andy McQuillan with a hattrick. Nick Miller and James Mildren notched the other two.

Quite an amazing 45 mins And club record victory for Burnie.

45 mins too much for our young lads. 16 year old in goals must have felt like he was in a shooting gallery! We have been at the bare bones for weeks now & the result was a combination of various things coming together. We have started virtually every game this season with 6 18 year olds and sometimes more so not a a bad season considering. They will hopefully learn from games like yesterday and improve through it. Football can take you to some great places however yesterday was a very dark day for our club.

That's the plan however players being constantly tapped and managers dangling cash incentives makes it difficult.

I don't think anyone saw it coming after what was a pretty even first half, the young keeper pulled off a great save at the goal, just unfortunate for him the ball landed at the feet of Campbell to prod home.

It was a bizarre half hour, we scored almost every time we went forward. Credit to the Kirkcaldy boys who kept on trying to push forward and didn't resort to kicking or fouling.

It was a freak result, but they'll learn from it.

Welcome to juniors football with no money

Yip, some players remain loyal as they enjoy playing at the club regardless of money, others will leave to go to a bigger club (no harm there), and some will leave for better money (no harm their either). It's tough being the wee guys!

Never understood why young players would move for money in the juniors. Unless it's to a top top club or a rich club then the cash isn't going to make a difference to their life really. All it does is tie them down, and if they end up not playing (which happens alot with youngsters) then they are left frustrated and can be out of the game for some time. This could lead to some jacking it in altogether. My advice to younger players is put playing before money, and by all means try play for the best team you can but do it sensibly. No point bragging to your mates that your getting £500-600 a season if your not playing/enjoying it.

Spot on victor & it's something I try and highlight to our boys. Young players are sometimes easily influenced and false promises and the cash incentive can turn heads. Far better playing week in week out rather than signing a contract that will curtail development by limiting game time.

Definitely. Young guys sometimes just like the thought of telling people they get paid to play football. All the best young players keep playing regular until they are ready to make step higher.

Good luck keeping your young squad together.

Yip absolutely agree, but then again sometimes if a young guy gets offered an extra £30/40 a week to play fitba, that could make a difference to them if they are not in a decent paid job.

In my opinion if the above is correct then it has been blown out of proportion to be honest.

Plus it's about time somebody told him to shut up and walk away.. Even if it had to come from the ref... The said players constant bitching at any ref in every game and his inability to walk away from any incidents is embarrassing in every way not only for a so called "experienced super league player"

who was the player ??
