IMO he's definitely a ball playing holding midfielder. Certainly more to him his game than your regular central midfield hardman/thug. Derek Adams pushed him forward, in front of a holding midfield two, in his first spell and he looked very dangerous linking up the play and shooting from distance. Not so good in a poorer team last season but he is a natural deep lying midfielder, who is young enough to develope more. Best of luck with him, his high wages kinda scuppered another stint with us.
