Utter drivel. I've read plenty of your posts, and you normally seem pretty reasonable, but so much of what you just typed comes across as bitter and hate filled.

I could go into this a lot more but again it's way off topic. Also it seems pointless getting into this kind of debate when no one actually seems to have any grasp of the facts.

I have to agree with you. Labour although dying are thrashing about trying to survive. Rangers died.

f**k sake my estimation of so many on this forum has just plummeted.

Rangers died.

Tbh I don't think the Tories will have much luck by trying to paint him as a buckled lefty. I'd bet that the vast majority of people won't based on where Corbyn is on a vague spectrum.

I'll have you know that the majority of people on here are on a vague spectrum.

Get fucked. What a fucking narrow minded shitey irrelevant post of utter w**k.

Un-bathered exhibit A

Corbyn should be interesting, probably quite good fun and will force Labour to find itself again, but nowhere near as funny as when rangers died. I ended up rupturing my Shatners bassoon laughing at that.

You have the facts?.

How about some predictions based on these facts.

How will this change by Labour affect Scottish Labour and the direction of the party up here, where Labour failed spectacularly in the general election from being in a strong position after the referendum?.

A lot of people will assume Labour will make a shift to a more left wing stance in policies which might be a huge mistake in this day and age where policies from the main parties in Britain have been drifting to the right over the last 20 years, is there a place for a socialist Labour in this day and age?.

I haven't been following the Labour leadership at all, but going on the news today it caught my interest.

I think there's a place for a socialist party precisely because of the drift to the right. The biggest betrayal of the Blair years was not fulfilling the traditional role of repairing the damage done to our social fabric by years of the Tories. The result has been an erosion of societal responsibility allowed to run unchecked for almost thirty years.

Basically agree but is Corbyn the guy to do it? Nicola Sturgeon has already challenged him to stand with the SNP over not replacing Trident. Can he take all the Blairites with him on that when he has defied the Labour whip over 500 times as an MP?

Labour will never move forward if the leadership are scared into compromising for the sake of a decreasing band of pink Tories.

I think this is my favourite report on the Corbyn win.

http://www.aljazeera.com/blogs/editors-blog/2015/09/kind-politics-britain-150913001016352.html

" - Jeremy Corbyn winning the Labour leadership is like Aberdeen beating Real Madrid in a European final. It really happened, but you have to pinch yourself to believe it is true."
