Kyle
Survation: Scotland: leave 41% remain 59% England: leave 54% remain 46% Britain: leave 53% remain 47% ooft. Is that the first time there's been such a stark difference between Scotland and England? Obviously the figures wont be exact, but pro-UK, pro-EU factions must be worried in Scotland at the moment? Granny Danger
This is going to be a lot closer than many may have thought. If the STAY vote wins I trust the Eurosceptics will not bang on about holding another referendum in a few years.

invergowrie arab
Survation polls are not exactly the most reliable - even you should know that after last year. Survation had yes on 47% in their final poll, the closest to the true result along with ipsos mori.

Antlion
Do we even have a date for this yet? Sometime, in the future, when Div gets whatever it is he wants. Can anyone remember way back when the Scottish referendum was announced, and the Tories (and others) wouldn't STFU about the timing? "It needs to happen NOW. We cannot live with this uncertainty. The SNP are delaying this because they're scared. IT NEEDS TO HAPPEN NOW!" It's not even irony at this point.
Half Rice Half Chips
Ultimately Scotland will remain in or leave the EU based on what England wants. If England wants out, we're out too.
Antlion
Ultimately Scotland will remain in or leave the EU based on what England wants. If England wants out, we're out too. Correct - but that's entirely fine with a lot of "proud and patriotic" Scots. They want the decision made by the majority of the U.K., not by the majority of the Scottish electorate. Antlion
That's block voting for you, did anyone moan about it in 1975 when we stayed in, probably not. There was no vote on the EU in 1975. The vote on membership of the European Community, however, was pro-yes across the home nations. This one looks (at the moment) like exhibiting a difference of opinion between the home nations. Mr Bairn
Ultimately Scotland will remain in or leave the EU based on what England wants. If England wants out, we're out too. The UK will remain or leave the EU based on what the UK wants. HTH.
Antlion
The UK will remain or leave the EU based on what the UK wants. HTH. 85% of which is England. Nothing against England, but let's not pretend that the vast majority of the U.K. (and therefore the deciding region in any referendum) isn't England. How nice of Westminster to give the minority states of this glorious family of nations a token voice under the umbrella of the "UK" though - even if it isn't one that can actually make a difference. Double Jack D
The UK will remain or leave the EU based on what the UK wants. HTH. 100% correct. Much to my disappointment, Scotland subscribed to that on 18th September last year. As events and democracy move on though, it would be nice to revisit our decision to allow the UK to decide matters of such huge consequence to us should our family of nations be significantly divided on them. AUFC90
Scotland being dragged out the EU by England or The UK staying in only on the back of Scottish votes would work for me. Either or for shits and giggles
