Loughal
Experienced/past it centre half/sweeper/left back/sub looking for looking for a west team next season. Can't run anymore and got as much outfield ability as JC the goaly but makes a great soup for the boys for after training and one of the best at finding balls kick out of the park.... Anyone interested let me know!! Suggest you buy a fishing rod.
RobRoyGuy
If Sawyers moves, it will be the first time in 2015. We called him Turbo, but it was all in jest. Biggest waste of space in football. What's that end bit all about.

Ardenvohr6
Quite simply, he is unfit, overweight and one dimensional. He might have been a player about two stones ago, but certainly not playing for Meadow at that level. Most of the goals he scored were from inside the box, simply by being there, but as a target man he was outplayed 90% of the time. When we suffered injuries to our two main strikers we were left with Sawyers. Should have shipped him out and brought a player in.

Honest to god. 52 goals in two seasons, 41 goals in 47 games for Roy but he is terrible and biggest waste in football as you put it. Seriously get a grip. connolly81
Cause it didn't work at meadow doesn't mean he isn't good enough. His record speaks for itself.

Your just being silly. It's clear everyone he's not the most mobile but as you said in another post he knows when to be in the right place at the right time and with a nippy striker up there with him that's able to get by him and his ability to hold up the ball and play people through then I honestly don't think he's a waste of space. RobRoyGuy
Top league not good enough. Let us down. Top league last season scored double figures in the league alone, in the premier and we finished 3rd bottom. Lot of nonsense don't know what meadow fans expect you do realise your a junior football team and no Barcelona .Anyway not sure what's happening with him next season, personally i hope he stays on, seems to work well him and pacey guys like Watt and Duff around him. meadow30
His finishing is third rate. Suits lower division. No offence just an opinion!
clash city rocker
Cause it didn't work at meadow doesn't mean he isn't good enough. His record speaks for itself. Never worked for Alain Kinney at Medda either or Pollok yet he was superb for Ladeside and Glenafton. When you sign players like Kinney or Sawyers you have to play to their strengths, hitting the ball into the channels is not for them, get the ball up to them and get support in and around them, get the ball into the box and they will always be there or thereabouts. RobRoyGuy
His finishing is third rate. Suits lower division. No offence just an opinion! You do realise the stats totally and utterly blow that opinion out the water. 52 goals in super leagues in two seasons, before that 30odd with renfrew in super league before that. How the hell can you be a third rate lower league striker with that kind of record.

JackD1908
His strike rate was poor with us but we played everything through Carlo Monti, so Sawyers was left to feed off the scraps of that. Obviously worked for him at Rob Roy as he is the main man, wasn't gonna be that way at Pollok or the Meadow.

Certain players just don't fit or suit certain teams ways that's just football.
