Airdrie76
He played at Ayr and Clyde as well. Still gets mentioned in threads about them (generally talking about how bad he was). He might have improved though - but I think those saying McNeil isn't a big loss could be in for a shock (whether we sign Cherrie or not).
RAPID BENANO
Andy McNeil was mince never as good as Grant Adam,Sanchez Broto or Johnny Martin a would have even have took Stephen Robertson before Andy McNeil

We want be signing anyone near that standard though. 2nd half of the season McNeil did well. Think it took him a while to get into (don't think he'd played for a while before signing). But he went on to be decent.
Tulloch Gorum
He'd been playing in New Zealand before signing with us - apparently he said that it took him a while to get used to the pace of the game here again. And remember he had a pretty poor defence in front of him for the first chunk of the season. It took a while for that to get sorted.

He's quoted as saying he hadn't played for 3 or 4 months too before joining up. I'd have liked him to stay. Made some big saves 2nd half of season. Think back to last season when we used 9(?) different keepers. It's a key position.
airdrieman
Don't remember Cherrie at all from his spell in Scotland. Good news about O'Neil and Lister.
kerrdavidson95
Cherrie was understudy to McGeown about twelve years ago. Doesn't bode well.
Diamond120593
Think we could do a lot worse than Peter Cherrie played nearly 200 times for Dundalk who are no world beaters but surely a better standard than our league. Agree with what's been said about O'Neil and Jimmy - good news
